The spaces we inhabit are composed by a diversity of materials. Each of them has specific characteristics that surround us and build intentioned atmospheres. BeatCells are wireless rhythmical modules that can be attached to different materials and surfaces in a space such as different walls, glass windows, metal surfaces, etc. The modules are capable of actuating its surrounding surface producing acoustic sound. The tapping on various surfaces provides different rhythmics. The objective is to turn any space into a musical instrument and associate it with a visual stimulus.
