Tutor – Clubes de Ciencia 2014
Clubes de Ciencia México is a growing organization of young scientists in the USA and Mexico.
Each science Club is taught by a team of instructors, one coming from an institution in the US and one established in Mexico. Students who take our science clubs are expected to emerge with a taste of the real world of research, from the conception of ideas to the designing and execution of experiments and the communication of their results to others. The topics of our science clubs include: energy, engineering, math, health sciences, among others. The science clubs activities could include: structured lessons by instructors, experiment design and experimentation, journal clubs and discussions. In addition, some of the time will be customized to address career options, opportunities to study in Mexico and abroad and general advice and mentoring to the students regarding STEM as a long term careers.
Note form the Harvard Graduate School News.. The program was sponsored by the David Rockefeller center for latin american studies from Harvard University and several other Mexican Institutes and Universities.
